PARADEIS PERDÍ - SHORT DOCUMENTARY

 

The short documentary Paradeis Perdí takes the viewer on a journey through the collective memory of a colonial history. What constitutes a Curaçaon cultural identity and how does it appear in our collective memory? By combining different types of archive images with stories of Caribbean residents, this film explores the deep-rooted meaning of a Caribbean heritage.  An ode to an archive which continues to be home to versatile images that we cannot, will not, or choose not to see.
